Features

From your industry to a validated dataset

Pick an industry, start from a template or your own sample, shape the fields - Data Genly generates the rows and checks them before you download.

Start from your industry

10 industries
Healthcare, banking, insurance, retail, FMCG, real estate, construction, logistics, telecom and hospitality - products, job titles and companies follow the one you pick.
35 templates
Five general ones (customers, employees, products, invoices, orders) plus three for each industry.
Your column list
Upload a CSV with your headers and get a field for each column, with types detected from the values.
Your sample data
Upload example rows as CSV, Excel or JSON. ID prefixes, codes, categories and ranges follow your sample - the values never do.

Control every field

23 field types
Text, numbers, currency, dates, email, phone, URL, country, city, address, postcode, UUID, barcodes, ratings, lists, running numbers, code patterns and more.
Rules
Ranges, percentage splits, unique values, required fields, a share of empty values and running IDs with your own prefix.
Related tables
Customers → orders → order items, linked by keys, with how many children each parent gets. Paid plans.
Rules between columns
Dates in order, totals above subtotals, if-then conditions. Paid plans.
Test data mode
Deliberately broken cells - bad emails, missing values, duplicates - for testing validation. Paid plans.
Localization
Country, language and currency conventions for names, phones, addresses and money - or a mix of countries in one dataset.
Live sample
Ten rows from the real generator, updated as you edit.
Saved schemas
Keep a setup and generate from it again with one click.

Generate at any size

Up to millions of rows
Rows stream to the file as they are made, so large datasets don't slow down.
Background generation
Live progress; leave and come back, or cancel. Failed and cancelled runs are never counted.
Validation summary
Unique values, valid formats and required fields checked on every dataset.
CSV, Excel, JSON and SQL
Meaningful file names and private links that expire. SQL on paid plans.

Safe by design

Synthetic only
Every value is generated. Nothing is copied from real people.
Samples read, not kept
Uploaded files are read in memory for their formats and discarded straight away.
Files expire
Generated files are deleted automatically after your plan's retention period.
Spreadsheet-safe
Values that could run as spreadsheet formulas are neutralised in CSV and Excel files.
