This policy explains what personal information Data Genly collects about account holders, why, and your rights. It is written to align with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the EU GDPR.

What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google profile name and picture.
- Usage: generations you run, record counts, saved schemas and file metadata.
- Billing: plan and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Security logs: sign-in events, errors and a one-way hash of your IP address used for rate limiting.
- Messages: what you send through the contact form.
What we don't want
Data Genly only needs a description of the data you want. Please don't enter real customer, employee or other personal data into requests. Generated datasets are synthetic.
Why we use it
- to provide the service and your account (contract);
- to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest);
- to handle payments and meet tax obligations (legal obligation);
- to reply to your messages.
Who processes it
We use service providers to run Data Genly: hosting and database (Railway), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and AI providers (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Google Gemini) that receive only your request text and field definitions - never generated datasets.
How long we keep it
- Generated files: your plan's retention period (24 hours on Free, 7 days on Pro).
- Generation history: 12 months.
- Security and error logs: 90 days; audit logs: 24 months.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to certain uses. Update your details on your Profile page, or contact us and choose "Privacy and data requests". We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. We don't use advertising cookies.
Changes
We'll post updates here and tell account holders about significant changes.
